Crash Coarse/Special Guests live at the Pig's Ear in San Bernardino June 23 2001
Unfortunately Skytzo couldn't make it due to work, so we did the set as Special Guests instead, playing a few covers, some Eyesores, and one Crash Coarse song; it was cool. I had to sing though. My constant witty banter probably wore thin, as I had to keep yapping between songs uncontrollably as I was the only one with a microphone. There were sloppy mistakes on everyone's part, but I certainly blew lyrics left and right. That's ok, nobody was paying attention to the words anyway. The Irritations put on a cool drunken show, very entertaining, as they tuned up, making wiseass comments to the crowd, walked offstage during songs, etc. They're a cool band, and are very entertaining. Not sure if it was an act though. Anyway, go to their site : the Irritations. After both sets, a few of us jammed some Stooges and VU tunes.
