Anarchy Library Show:
The Anarchy Library gig was cool, and of course was the Circle City 7's first show in a while. We played "I wanna Live" by the Ramones (seems we always do that when a Ramone dies), as well as several covers. All the other bands kicked ass and hopefully we play with them in the future. While there was some sloppiness during the set, it rocked in a loose fashion, and impressed people to the point where we had someone buy us a concoction made out of Red Bull in a glass with a separate shot glass of Jagermeister "embedded" in the Red Bull contained within the glass. I don't remember what it was called. Also someone left a can of one of those caffeine/beer drinks that we sipped on (Kevin came by and smashed it in a fury declaring that "this isn't sold here") that tasted like a Pez candy (people thought I was saying "piss"). The Anarchy Library is always a fun night (excepting those rare occasions when shit is stolen). Cum back here for info on the "Liquid Den" gig tomorrow.
Liquid Den show- with Max Cady and Dura Mater:
Lob put the show on and it was a cool bill- Dura Mater was instrumental heavy acid rock- kicked ass. Max Cady was more hard rock and likewise kicked ass. Also got a video of the set. There were problems with the guitars- Jonas broke my bass string, and Tom broke a string on my guitar, but it was oK in the end. Just like a proctologist would tell you after a hemmerhoid removal. I might put up a sound file of one of the songs. And of course the motto of the Liquid den is....
