well, it wasn't bad- we played with a new bassist named Chris who did very good (and who first jammed with the band the same day- at least with the full band, Tom had worked on some songs with him the night before). Of course we had been talked out of the second to last slot, with the result that the crowds for all the pay to play bands who were on the bill before us and the Relentless all left. There's nothing quite like seeing a whole different crowd of people come in and leave before and after each band plays. That's Orange County for you. But the Relentless were very good and kicked ass. Oh yeah, not to pick on bass players, but both their bassist and ours (Chris) unplugged the bass guitar at some point during the set. Always thread the cord through the strap on your guitar so it doesn't get pulled out.
oh yeah- Tom said something to the effect of "Butter Pecan" on stage, so I played a short bit of the drumbeat from aforementioned song (found on the Eyesores "Cthonic New Shit" CD).
