Dog and Bert live acoustic sets at the Vault in Redlands:
This is linked from all the different bands because.. I fuckin' felt like it. Bert and I each did acoustic sets of 3 tunes each- Bert did some of the good old CC7/Irritationscovers: I wanna Live by the Ramones, Save My Soul by Wimple Winch, and Goo Goo Muck by the Cramps. Then I went up, did "I wanna Be Your Dog" by the Stooges, which people seemed to dig. Second song was actually a medley of "Bull Balls" (Eyesores, written by Metalhed), and "Bastard In Charge" (Crashcoarse, written by myself)- these two went over ok, and I may post the songs up in the near future. Finally, the Beatles "Revolution 1"- meaning the slower White Album version, which I kind of blew it on, didn't sing it that well, blasted by one or two of the verses, and didn't really play the guitar the way it should have sounded. However, it was still fun- first time doing the Bob Dylan thing, may have to do it again- last time I played a "solo" set at the Vault, was THIS TIME which was totally different; I had prerecorded drums, Jonas on electric bass, and distorted electric guitar. Another update- we played there again on Jan 10- Bert actually didn't play because the place got too full, the list filled up quickly and we almost ran out of time- enough time for Jonas and I to do two short songs though.
