The CC7 played Fri. night; Eyesores played Sat. night. First time playing in Vegas for either band; first time visiting there for some of the eyesores! There were hotel screw ups for Dog and his wife, but they ended up at the hotel right on the property of Hoffbrau Haus, a Bavarian Beer Hall. The prev. Wed, Bert, Tom, and DG played acoustic sets at the Vault in Redlands. CC7 has not played for almost 2 years, so this was a fun show- CC7 played First; Eyesores played last on Sat- the set time really made a difference in the crowd. Went wine tasting in the liquorstore, visited the pinball museum, we even managed to drink some beer. Jonas (former Irritations/Crashcoarse bassist) also showed up, and Snake Witcher jumped onstage for 4 or 5 Eyesores songs, with Dog playing Psychefunkapus bass solos. Metal particularly enjoyed the ability to buy beer 24 hrs a day, and walk down the street with a beer wherever you are as long as you are not taking a shit in the street or screaming incoherent nonsense at street signs. We all did! At least the screaming incoherent nonsense part.
By the way, the most perceptive of you will have noticed that Fist is missing. He hasn't been in the band since August. Not too sure where he is.
