catch all update- lots of DP shows and also a Crashcoarse show on Feb. 29 at Malones.. kicked ass, and it was the first time I'd played Malones since mid 97 when I was with the Idiot Parade- we'd been on the bill with Justified Anger, and ... let me get back to you with the other band names, but the same drummer was there 11 years later playing in a Bikini Kill cover band! Vinny and I had to jam down to the Tropics in Fullerton (where the entire street was closed due to a murder down the street), where we jammed a Dick Politic set. The following Sunday (the 2nd) the Eyesores were to do a video shoot with Flashrock, and as it turned out, we got a last minute show at the Tropics. We got a "Foul Response", got "Broken Bottles" thrown at us, and got fed "Piss Pops" because we were "Eyesores". Al had plane tickets for Sunday so we had to 3 piece it. The Flashrock recording itself.. you'll just have to watch on March 14....
also we'd played the Caravan in San Jose on Feb. 18 and had a basically instrumental set due to pa problems, but what the hell, it was kick ass anyway!!
July 12, 2008- Crashcoarse and Codename Hardhat debut at Malones- first proper show for CNHH (strangely enough the name Crashcoarse was going to go under back in 99!- this band is actually RT, Vinny, and Tom Krax)- kicked ass, also hung with the Chryslers, Driven Out- the Driven Out drummer had another band playing that night that kicked ass- name escapes me at the moment, but there were good, Riotgun, it was a kick arse show.
