SAT March 29, 2008 @ Casablanca in Phx, AZ- the Circle City Seven/ Misanthropes
gig report to come... short version is that the CC7 (Bert, RT, Tom) teamed up with the Misanthropes (Tom, James, Ami) to create a five piece rock band. it was cool; played with some cool bands: let me finish this I got interrupted....
early July Bert and I (DG) played an acoustic gig between sets of this cover band out in Hesperia at Bert's buddy Hook's house. We did mostly covers, but also Puppy Lake. We did well, but some of the crowd was more into hearing KLOS classic rock covers than Velvet Underground, Cramps, Social D, etc. We still did well.
