hahh.. the joke was on us.. no show with the dickies, due to goofiness on the part of club and booker, we got moved to the Hully Gully with a band whose singer sported the "burnt flesh" look. Ran into Joe Candelaria who was a senior at my high school when I was a freshman, and who promotes shows. The next night at the Tardust- there were 11 bands!!! Somewhere in the middle we got a 20 minute set. Hmm.
